About the Role
Flexcar is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op to focus on enhancing marketing analytics through front-end development. In this role, you’ll work closely with our marketing and product teams to implement solutions that provide actionable insights into user behavior. You'll have the opportunity to optimize our use of tools like Google Tag Manager and Fullstory, contributing directly to our data-driven decision-making processes. You will also be responsible for contributing to our customer facing application that drives Flexcar business.

What you’ll do:
Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement and optimize tracking solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager) for marketing analytics.
Enhance product analytics capabilities through tools like Fullstory to provide actionable insights.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of features that improve user tracking and analytics on web and mobile applications.
Ensure data integrity and work with teams to translate user insights into improvements.
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance our ability to gather and act on user data.
Add features to our customer facing application which is built with Remix and React.

What drives success for this role:
Working towards a BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent.
The ability to work in person for at least 4 days a week.
Interest in front-end development, marketing analytics, and product optimization.
Familiarity with tools like Google Tag Manager, Fullstory, and similar analytics platforms is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
Experience with Front end frameworks like React is a plus.
