Pay Rate: $24/hr + Full Benefit Package! 

As a Flexcar Service Support Specialist, you'll act as the primary liaison between our members and our internal/external repair partners.  You'll provide world class member service while managing the entire repair process, including: assessing vehicle issues, coordinating with technicians and shops and deliver timely and high-quality resolutions for our Flexcar members. Your role also involves managing service appointments, receiving members into the building, resolving member concerns, and ensuring we keep our members informed throughout the process. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Greet members in a member-centric way as they enter the building for their appointments, or as walk-ins.  

  • Consult with members both over the phone and in person to gather information on their vehicle service concern. 

  • Quickly figure out the best route to resolution for our members and coordinate each step along the way. 

  • Consistently follow up and keep members informed of their vehicle’s status. 

  • Keep and maintain accurate records for each service vehicle. 

  • Take complex mechanical issues and present them in clear, concise explanations. 

  • Form partnerships with third-party repair facilities to help expand our repair footprint. 

  • Work with our Member Concierge team to help members swap into a different vehicle as needed. 

  • Be adaptable to new initiatives and contribute with new ideas and ways we can better service our members.

What Drives Success for this Role:    

  • Previous automotive service experience, and an understanding of vehicle service flow, is preferred, not required 

  • Being an effective multitasker with strong time management skills    

  • Tech savviness – you'll be using a company provided smartphone throughout your day to manage tasks    

  • Ability to work in a customer-centric environment  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

  • Operating as a team player in a fast-paced environment    

  • Flexibility to workdays, evenings, weekends and/or holidays   

  • Willingness to work outdoors (weather and other conditions vary)    

  • Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)   

  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)   

  • At least 18 years old
