Job Title: Social Media & Content Associate  

Location: Downtown, Boston – Full Time + 50 Hrs 

Compensation: $60,000-$85,000 + Full Benefits Day One + Bonus

The Social Media & Content Associate will own Flexcar’s presence across all organic social channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and will help establish Flexcar’s voice, personality, and storytelling across markets. You’ll create, publish, and analyze content that builds trust, drives brand affinity, and supports our rapid national expansion. This is a hands-on creative role with a mix of production, copywriting, posting, community engagement, and trend scouting. 

You’ll collaborate closely with Partnerships & Brand Marketing and Performance Marketing to ensure Flexcar shows up with clarity, consistency, and relevance everywhere our members spend time. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Own Flexcar’s organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms 

  • Lead day-to-day management of all Flexcar social channels, ensuring consistent, on-brand presence and messaging 

  • Develop and execute content calendars aligned to brand priorities, market launches, partnerships, and seasonal or cultural moments 

  • Create and publish high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), working hands-on with filming, editing, and posting 

  • Manage and curate Flexcar’s Instagram grid, including static posts, carousels, and campaign-aligned visuals 

  • Partner with creators and internal teams to produce authentic, on-brand organic content 

  • Assist with influencer outreach, management, and negotiations, including briefing, timelines, deliverables, and usage rights 

  • Coordinate influencer content from concept through posting, ensuring brand alignment and on-time execution 

  • Collaborate with paid media to identify high-performing organic and influencer content for amplification 

  • Monitor trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep Flexcar relevant and timely across channels 

  • Engage with and manage the Flexcar community and relevant accounts by monitoring DMs, comments, mentions, and conversations across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit) 

  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, follower growth, video views, saves, and shares 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing social media for a consumer brand, startup, or agency 

  • Proven experience creating, publishing, and optimizing organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms 

  • Strong hands-on skills in short-form video creation, including filming, editing, and posting 

  • Experience managing Instagram grids, including static posts and carousels, with a strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency 

  • Experience supporting influencer outreach and campaigns, including briefing, timelines, deliverables, and usage rights 

  • Strong creative instincts paired with an understanding of performance metrics and content optimization 

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with paid media, partnerships, creative, and leadership teams 

  • Deep understanding of social trends, platform updates, and internet culture 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-moving environment 

  • Excellent communication skills and a community-first mindset when engaging with followers, creators, and partners 

  • Experience working with influencers or creators at scale is a plus 

  • Familiarity with content amplification, whitelisting, or paid social workflows is a plus 

  • On-camera comfort (or willingness to be) is a plus
