We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to own major consumer experiences across our website and mobile apps. Many of the patterns for this new kind of product don’t exist yet. You’ll help define them, balancing visual craft with the realities of everyday use.
What you’ll own
Set the visual direction for major consumer-facing flows, end to end, across web and mobile.
Turn open-ended problems into a clear design point of view grounded in user insight and business needs.
Build realistic, clickable prototypes that can be tested on-device, working in Figma and the codebase so handoff becomes a shared review.
Work directly with PM and engineering from day one, with the ownership and straightforward decision-making of a small team.
Help other designers grow through critiques, shared patterns, and mentoring.
Who we’re looking for
Strong visual judgment and craft. You follow how leading consumer apps are evolving and bring a developed eye for typography, spacing, and hierarchy. You favor restraint over decoration. We can teach you our product, constraints, and codebase; we’re looking for you to bring that judgment.
Care for the whole experience. Empty, error, and loading states get the same attention as the main screens—including when a car is late, a card declines, or a member changes their mind in the parking lot.
Experience shipping consumer products at scale. You have 5+ years designing digital products and a portfolio of shipped work across desktop web and mobile screen sizes.
A solid UX practice. You’re comfortable with information architecture, flows, research, usability testing, and accessibility. You prototype, test, and revise.
Meaningful use of AI. It’s part of your design process, and you hold AI-assisted work to the same standard as everything else you create.
Clear communication. You can explain your decisions to PMs, engineers, and leadership, work through pushback, and stay open to feedback without losing your point of view.
Bonus: Experience working in a shared codebase with branches and pull requests, or in marketplaces, subscriptions, automotive, or fintech.
A few things to know
Fully onsite in downtown Boston, five days a week. Remote and hybrid arrangements aren’t available.
We offer a relocation package for candidates moving to Boston.
We move quickly and ship frequently. We’ll explain what that looks like on our first call.
You’ll help build our design foundations. We don’t yet have an established design system or a large design team.
