Role:
As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of our core products and services. Working closely with a team of talented professionals, you will leverage your expertise to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance our customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of new features for our Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring robustness, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to ideate and execute innovative features.
• Uphold high standards of code quality and participate in code reviews.
• Address performance issues and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails and familiar libraries such as RSpec and Resque.
• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, continuous integration, cloud services (AWS, Azure), and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
• Experience with React, Tailwind CSS for front-end development.
• Familiarity with deployment and CI/CD processes using Heroku.
• Knowledge of subscription management platforms like Zuora.
• Experience integrating customer service software, such as Zendesk.
