Role Overview
The Fleet Specialist plays a critical frontline role in ensuring vehicles entering the Flexcar fleet meet quality, readiness, and brand standards. This position works closely with multiple internal teams and external inventory suppliers to maintain a healthy, accurate, and well-organized fleet pipeline.
This role operates with limited on-site supervision and requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and comfort working independently in outdoor environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate from our supplier lot locations, maintaining a positive working relationship with the on-site supplier team.
  • Utilize Flexcar technology to inspect and disposition (accept/reject) inventory from supplier, ensuring all vehicles meet Flexcar’s standards.
  • Drive, as needed using a company vehicle, between Tampa and Orlando to conduct operations at both supply chain locations.
  • Install Flexcar technology in vehicles, including but not limited to telematics devices and other monitoring devices.
  • Use our technology to take consistent high-quality images for our website.
  • Conduct accurate, daily complete inventory scans, and assist with reconciliation process  
  • Work on various special projects - managing their moving parts, timelines, and stakeholders - as dictated by unique business needs in an emerging market.  
  • Properly manage vehicle inventory, including organizing a parking lot and correctly labeling cars  
  • Complete other assigned tasks from team leads and managers as directed   
  • Working outdoors in Florida conditions, such as heat, rain, and storms.

  • Clear communicator: Communicates professionally and effectively with internal teams, supplier partners, and managers.
  • Team-oriented approach: Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift.
  • Schedule flexibility: Willing and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Physical & environmental readiness: Comfortable working outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions and performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Eligibility requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
    • At least 18 years old
