Flexcar is now hiring Body shop Technicians! This role is great for recent auto body repair graduates, automotive repair professionals, and many more! Under minimal supervision, the Body Automotive Technicians will perform all processes necessary to complete basic body repair and cosmetic repairs on fleet vehicles following Flexcar's policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:
Prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles.
Paint small sections of damaged and repaired areas, blending as needed.
Small area bodywork (including Bondo repair).
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to damaged area of vehicle if needed.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
Removing and installing bumpers / trim pieces.
Minor plastic welding.
Able to perform PDR (paintless dent repair) desired.
Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
What Drives Success for this Role:
ASE certifications heavily preferred
Sound knowledge of solvent and water based paint.
Previous automotive body repair experience required
Must have great technical bodywork skills
PDR (paintless dent repair) experience.
Must be a team player and can work repetitively on complex tasks
Provide support to other associates and managers as needed.
Perform all work within standardized cycle times
Flexibility to workdays, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Ability to carry tools and supplies up to 75lbs.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
2+ years of automotive repair experience is preferred.
At least 18 years old
