Compensation: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour + Plus full benefits (eligible Day One)

Position Overview 

The Operations Specialist works closely with frontline teams to ensure vehicles meet Flexcar quality standards and are customer-ready. This role primarily operates outdoors at a market location and requires strong attention to detail, technology usage, and operational coordination. 

  

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation under California law, including: 

  • Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workday 

  • Double time for hours worked over 12 in a workday 

  • Overtime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdays 

  

Essential Functions

  • Clean and detail a high volume of vehicles to meet company standards 

  • Assess vehicle quality and document damage using company technology 

  • Complete readiness, return, and infleet inspections 

  • Take high-quality vehicle photos for website display 

  • Conduct daily inventory scans and assist with reconciliation 

  • Organize and manage vehicle inventory and parking areas 

  • Communicate with team members using company-issued smart devices 

  • Assist with customer vehicle deliveries as needed 

  • Maintain Flexcar facilities and property 

  • Manage assigned projects and tasks as business needs dictate 

  • Safeguard vehicles, company property, and customer information 

  • Comply with Cal/OSHA safety requirements and environmental standards 

  • Accurately complete timekeeping records 

  

Required Qualifications 

  • At least 18 years of age 

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record 

  • Ability to lift and carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds 

  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions 

  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require 

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills 

  • Comfort using smartphone and technology platforms 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment 

  

Physical Requirements 

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting 

  • Outdoor work exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions 

  • Use of cleaning chemicals and automotive-related materials 

  

Compensation Transparency (California – SB 1162) 

The hourly pay range for this position in California is $24.00 – $26.00 per hour. 

This range represents the reasonably expected pay range for this role within California. Actual compensation will be determined based on: 

  • Experience 

  • Skills and competencies 

  • Geographic location 

  • Internal equity considerations 

This position is paid on an hourly basis and is eligible for overtime in accordance with California wage and hour laws.
